Pre-clinical and C1
We offer you the development and implementation of various chemical processes for your more advanced lead compounds and material required for tox-studies. Our wide range of route scouting services is based on our unique synthetic competences such as biocatalysis, homogeneous catalysis, and continuous chemistry (micro reactors), as well as crystallisation and polymorph studies. They’re proven, flexible and scalable – as well as increasingly sustainable.
All our synthesis and chemical development work happens in specialist facilities, to the highest quality standards. This includes our InnoSyn™ R&D services and our ResCom® solution – used for stability studies, registration activities (for example, support in CMC-section), and other key services for the development of new investigational APIs.
Meanwhile another specialist area is in developing new technologies in the chirality-field; in fact we’ve developed various chiral building blocks used for the efficient production of new drugs.
Naturally, our pre-clinical services benefit from the know-how, chemical toolbox and general technology. You could say it’s literally at your disposal.
Services
Increasingly we find that the most sustainable synthesis route often proves to be the most efficient. Our InnoSyn™ route scouting services is helping customers not only develop cleaner processes - through the use of enzymes, for example – but is able to reduce synthesis steps or indeed completely redesign synthesis routes.
For one chiral intermediate we more than halved the number of synthesis steps – from seven to three. The result was an over 50% cut in carbon emissions while also decreasing costs.
