  • Micro reactor

Our micro reactor technology offers you a compelling alternative to traditional large vessel processing thanks to its much reduced manufacturing and environmental footprint and increased efficiency in producing intermediates and APIs. Specifically the micro reactor approach:

  • Replaces traditional 10,000 liter vessels with a network of smaller tubes the micro reactor that deliver up to a 20% higher yield
  • Produces less energy and carbon dioxide – as well as less bi-products (due to being enzyme-based)
  • Is quicker and easier to control with a faster reaction rate thanks to its smaller scale, which in turn means higher yields and lower costs
  • Optimizes the reaction parameters much faster than for a typical batch reaction.


  • Biocatalysis

Biocatalysis is another technology that draws on our 100 years-plus experience in enzymes – and is a viable and highly efficient alternative to traditional synthesis methods. We are able to identify the right biocatalyst fast from our extensive library —and have access to wide biodiversity, mutant libraries, and a variety of efficient production organisms. Our experience ensures ideal process optimization and scale up with fast reaction optimization - and supports process development and full-scale cGMP implementation.
